PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make appropriately controllable the operation current of a driving motor for driving a photosensitive drum, and make satistiable the first typing time in the monochrome color mode and the current capacity in the multiple color mode with an inexpensive configuration, in an image forming device provided with the monochrome color printing mode and a full color printing mode. SOLUTION: In this image forming device, a photosensitive drum 1 is driven by a DC brushless motor 40, and its drive control is performed by DSP(Digital Signal Processor) 20. Then, the operation current of a motor 40 is detected by a current detecting resistor 34, and the limit value of the operation current is set, and the limit value being set is switched in either monochrome color printing mode or full color printing mode. |
