摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of cosolidifying a low-level radioactive wetting waste of a boiling-water nuclear power plant, including spent ion-exchange resin and sludge waste at extremely high volume efficiency. SOLUTION: Sodium sulfate of a concentrated solution is converted to sodium hydroxide and barium sulfate by reacting sodium sulfate with barium hydroxide, so as to improve the stability of solidified waste. The barium sulfate having high density and high stability is insoluble in water, and used as micro cohesive substance is the solidified waste. The sodium hydroxide is used for stabilizing ion-exchange resin and forming high waterproof solidified waste with silicate and phosphate in a solidification agent mixture. The solidification agent to be used is a new powder mixture completely made from non-organic material, so that the solidified waste is free from an aging problem. Waste loading to the solidified waste is extremely enhanced, so that solidification volume efficiency becomes three times that of another waste solidifying method.
