<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor which suppresses a decrease in the compressibility of data as much as possible. SOLUTION: According to an indication from a control circuit 1, a specific data pattern generating means 7 inserts a specific pattern meaning compression system switching and a specific pattern which invalidates special meaning of following specific patterns. Specific pattern detecting means 4 and 8 monitor whether data outputted from a compressor 3 and a read buffer 2 match the specific pattern and when they match the specific pattern, specific bit inserting means 5 and 9 insert specific bits showing that the pattern is not the specific pattern having special meaning under the control of the control circuit 1. The control circuit 1 measures how many times the specific bits are inserted and controls a selector 10 to use data before the processing by the specific bit inserting means 9 if the compressibility is possibly exceeded in the worst case.</p> |
