PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a prescribed scene similar to a desired scene without requiring information other than pictures and voices transmitted from a broadcasting station. SOLUTION: A intra-picture information extraction part 3 reads intra-picture information to be a keyword from a prescribed scene similar to the desired scene of a signal of a program on a different channel and stores it in an intra- picture information storage part 6. A comparison part 7 compares intra-picture information stored in the intra-picture information storage part 6 with intra- picture information extracted from the signal of the program on the different channel by the intra-picture information extraction part 3, and a detection signal is supplied to a presentation method designation part 8 when matched. Then a signal switching and mixing part 9 reads out the signal of the program on the different channel, which includes a scene, where intra-picture information is matched, from a picture memory part 4 and transmits it to a display part 10.
