PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll type compressor allowing to reduce an amount of lubricating oil flowing outside the compressor and also allowing to improve reliability of the compressor. SOLUTION: The scroll type compressor 101 comprises a sealed housing 102 having an inlet and outlet port for fluid, a scroll type compressing mechanism 104 supported by a frame 103 in the sealed housing 102, and a motor 105 of a driving means connected to the scroll type compressing mechanism 104 through a rotary shaft 106. A cylindrical partition panel 129 is provided around the rotary shaft 106.
