PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily revise data at a receiver on the occurrence of partial revision in transmitted distribution data. SOLUTION: A reception section 301 in a reception terminal receives transmitted contents, update notice information denoting the occurrence of update in the contents and update information denoting contents of the update. A contents reception section 302 receives necessary contents from the information received by the section 301. A contents storage section 303 stores the received contents. An update notice information reception section 306 receives the update notice information from the storage contents of the storage section 303. An update notice information storage section 307 stores the received update notice information. An update information reception section 308 selectively receives update information corresponding to the update notice information out of sets of the information received by the section 301 and supplies the received update information to the storage section 303. Update processing is executed for the contents stored in the section 303 on the basis of the update information.
