PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position adjusting device for a window sash in which position adjusting work can be easily conducted in a short time by conducting position adjustment to the window sash in a jack method for improving work efficiency. SOLUTION: This position adjusting device A is provided for positioning a window sash 5 to a window opening part 4 in a building frame. A base plate 1 and a movable plate 3 to be inserted into a gap 6 between the window opening part 4 and the window sash 5 are provided, a screw rod 2 having a handle 20 at a tip is rotatably provided to stand from a base end part of the base plate 1, a base end part of the movable plate 3 is engaged with the screw rod 2, and the movable plate 3 is moved in an axial direction of the screw rod 2 by rotation of the screw rod 2, thereby the movable plate 3 is moved to/from the base plate 1 to expand/contract an interval between the movable plate 3 and the base plate 1.
