摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target for a neutron scattering facility which enables to form a flow of liquid heavy metal with high uniformity without stagnation. SOLUTION: Mercury M flowing in from a liquid heavy metal inlet 40 toward inside part of the top part of a container main body 31 is regulated by a plurality of inflow guiding blades 36a-36d located at a liquid heavy metal inflow channel 38, and mercury M flowing from inside part of the top part of the container main body 31 toward a liquid heavy metal outlet 41 is regulated by a plurality of outflow guiding blades 37a-37d located at a liquid heavy metal outflow channel 39, and prevents mercury M from stagnation and recirculation. Further, the outward leakage of mercury M caused by the damage of the container main body 31 is protected by covering the container main body 31 twofold with an intermediate container shell 33 and an outer container shell 35.
