PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a fogging and the lowering of recording density, in a fixing device formed by applying silicone oil to its heating roller. SOLUTION: By using any of methyl hydrodiene silicone oil, methyl phenyl silicone oil, carboxy denatured silicone oil, carbinol denatured silicone oil, fluorine denatured silicone oil and methacryl denatured silicone oil is used as a release agent to improve the release property of toner from the heating roller of the fixing device, the occurrence of a fogging is prevented. By using any of methyl hydrodiene silicone oil, methyl phenyl silicone oil, epoxy denatured silicone oil, carboxy denatured silicone oil, carbinol denatured silicone oil, polyether denatured silicone oil and fluorine denatured silicone oil is used as the release agent, the lowering of the recording density is prevented.
