PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store different-length batteries in parallel in a battery pack without looseness. SOLUTION: When the maximum-length battery 3 and a battery 4 shorter than the battery 3 are stored in parallel at one side of the battery pack 1 having a battery storage portion 2 capable of storing same-diameter batteries in parallel and at the other side, respectively, longitudinal looseness is caused in the battery storage portion 2 on the side of storage of the shorter battery 4. The looseness is eliminated by the stroke of a coil spring 8 which thrusts the battery 4 at either positive or negative electrode side. The battery 4 is thus stored without looseness.
