PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a developing device having such a constitution that the residual amount of developer is always accurately judged without causing cost rising making the device larger, and an image forming device using the same. SOLUTION: This developing device for visualizing a latent image on a latent image carrier is provided with means 21 and for detecting the residual amount of the developer supplied to the latent image carrier. The means 21 and 22 have constitution that the number of residual amount detecting times is accumulated and the residual amount of the developer is judged according to the accumulated number of times. |
