摘要 PURPOSE: Provided are a novel phytase (myoinositol hexakisphosphate phosphohydrolase) isolated from Bacillus amyloliquefaciens and its gene. The phytase increases bioavailability of phosphorous in feeds for monogastric animals. CONSTITUTION: The phytase is from Bacillus amyloliquefaciens and has an amino acid sequence of Seq. ID. No. 1. The phytase is characterized by the molecular weight of 39kDa, the isoelectric point(pI) of 6.5, and an enzyme titer of 1.2 unit/mg, and shows hydrolyzes phytic acid to myoinositol and phosphoric acid. The gene coding the phytase has a base sequence of Seq. ID. No. 2 and corresponds to open reading frame(ORF) of 1065bp. The ORF codes the polypeptide having a molecular weight of 38,953Da consisting of 354 amino acids of which 29 amino acids among signal peptide are removed.
