An electronic timepiece with indication hands having indication hands capable of providing various indications and capable of preventing an unstable operation of the indication hands from occurring, comprising time indicating hands (101, 102) indicating time, first and second indication hands (103, 104) installed separately from the time indicating hands (101, 102), a rotating means which reciprocatingly rotates the first and second indication hands (103, 104) in the directions reverse to each other, and a control means controlling the movable ranges of the first and second indication hands (103, 104) to within the specified ranges and capable of adjusting the controlled positions of these hands, whereby the skipping of the first and second indication hands (103, 104) due to impact or others can be controlled by the control means and the control means is adjusted when the first and second indication hands (103, 104) are likely to stop in the ranges where their rotation is disabled so as to change the movable ranges of the first and second indication hands (103, 104).
