<p>A synchronous detection circuit which is used in communication lines for transferring data continuously on a cell basis, which is provided with a plurality of individual bit positions synchronous detection units (6-0 to 6-423) provided, in order to perform a synchronous detection for an agreement of a check bit of one cell with a preset check bit, correspondingly to the positions of all the bits having a bit length equivalent to a length of one cell, and which is provided with a synchronous status control unit (2) for controlling all the operations of the individual bit positions synchronous detection units. The individual bit positions synchronous detection units perform synchronous detections in parallel and repeatedly, and when the number of synchronous detections at any of the bit positions reaches a preset number of detections first, the synchronous status control unit specifies that bit position as a regular bit start position to thereby permit reception of a cell.</p> |
