<p>A device (10) for delivering single point pressure sensations to a subject, to provide not only tactile sensory forces, but also precise gradations of these forces in a single hand-held unit. The device (10) includes a mechanism for varying the angle at which a monofilament (24) is delivered relative to a tubular body portion (12) by providing a choice of interchangeable tip members (14). A clip member (26) receives a monofilament holder (22). The clip member (26) and the monofilament holder (22) serve to permit the monofilament (24) to be extended from and retracted into the tubular body portion (12).</p> |
