The mixing controller has a device for detecting the distance between a spray outlet of the sprayer and the object or a distance-dependent parameter and a control device for setting at least one component of the spray mixture depending on the respective distance. The controller detects and evaluates the charge voltage value set as a parameter of the respective distance between the spray outlet and the object. Independent claims are also included for the following: a sprayer, a method of controlling a spray mixer and a program module for a sprayer.
