The device for removal of a contact lens (5) from an eye (4) is formed as a suction tube (1) with two open ends, one open end (2) being for insertion in the mouth of the wearer, th other being trumpet-shaped (3) for withdrawing the contact lens from the eye. Between the two open ends, the tube has a grip section (6) and is C-shaped. The mouthpiece section narrows to the end.
