The coffin moving apparatus comprises a loading base (6) on a hearse (8) which is removable from the embedded area (4), and is situated in the base (20) with the sliding base (38). The base is fixed to the embedded area, which has supporting arms (17,17',19) at the height of the top side of the wheel cases (18). The base pan has mounting flaps (52,54,56,58) for fixing to the embedded area.
