<p>The invention discloses a novel polypeptide, SECp43, 32 that associates specifically with human selenocysteine tRNA, the polynucleotide encoding such polypeptide and the method of production thereof by DNA recombinant techniques. Methods of using the polypeptide for treating various diseases such as malignant tumors, blood disease, HIV infection and immune disorder, and inflammation and the like are also disclosed. Furthermore, the invention discloses the antagonist of the polypeptide and the effects thereof. The use of the polynucleotide encoding the novel SECp43, 32 that associates specifically with human selenocysteine tRNA is also disclosed.</p> |
