SURFACE PROCESSING DEVICE

A surface processing device used when the body of a car or an article of furniture is polished. The device comprises a processing member including a continuous porous elastic body (2) covered with a fibrous film (3) and constituting a processing part (11), engaging annular member (4), and a holder (5) having an annular groove (53) provided around a base (51) supporting the processing part (11) and having therein an engaging structure. The edge of the processing member is pressed into the fitting annular groove, and fitted into the annular groove of the holder by means of the end of the engaging annular member, thereby engaging the processing member with the engaging structure. Thus the device can be easily assembled.
