<p>A method of knitting the neck of a knit wear by a weft knitting machine, comprising the steps of spreading a neck portion (10a) of a main front part (2a) by the weft knitting machine, largely moving each knitted loop of the right side portion and left side portion of the front neck portion (10a) locked to a first needle floor (FB) from the inside to the outside in order to knit seamlessly the knit wear such as a sweater having a hung part formed at the neck portion (10a) using a relatively simple method, locking each knitted loop to the first needle floor (FB) in the state that an empty needle is inserted between the knitted loop portions, feeding at least one of the knitted loops (31, 32) at the outer side ends of the right and left portions of the moved front neck portion (10a) to an area adjacent to the knitted loops at the side end of a rear neck portion (10b) locked to a second needle floor (BB) so as to spread the diameter of the neck portion (10), providing an increase to the empty needle, and then knitting the neck (8).</p> |
