The vertical blind has a rotatably mounted cloth shaft, a blind cloth (3) wound onto it and attachment devices in the form of clamping devices for retrospective attachment to a drop tube (17). The clamps (10) at least partly engage around the blind cloth spool (12) in shape-locking manner, leaving a slot at the bottom free for the blind cloth, and have elastically expandable U-arms enclosing the spool.
