The motor vehicle internal combustion engine choke has a coil spring (32) seated in the part of the throttle pivot axis projecting from the throttle housing (1), to be reeled between the housing and a lever (23). One of the ends of the spring is locked in a stop (33) in the housing so that it projects. The other end of the spring is locked in the lever. The lever is biased in the opening direction of each of several throttle butterflys.
