A digital phase angle signal series is generated, based on the phase difference between the frequency and/or phase modulated input signal. A clock series is produced, based on the clock signal output from the decoder and is quantized. The quantized clock signal is combined with the digital signal series, based on standard coefficient. An independent claim is also included for the high frequency signal generator.
