This invention refers to the automatic cigarette case designed so that, holding it in the hand, the starter of the whole mechanism (15) is shifted with the thumb by two pillar guides and spring, releasing in this way the catapult cover (5) so that the cigarette may come out. The cigarette is longitudinally guided by the guides in catapult (4), which prevent the catapult from becoming dirty during the internal cigarette lighting and may be of round or other section. The cigarette receives the air needed for initial lighting from the opening in the catapult (10). In the cigarette space (1) there is an element for sorting cigarettes (2) which prevents the cigarettes from being stuck in the cigarette space before entry in catapult (10). By moving the starter of the entire mechanism (15) the cigarette separator (16) shifts, which separates the catapult from the cigarette space and which enables cigarette lighting only in the catapult and prevents the lighting of the other cigarettes in the cigarette space (1). At the same time the cigarette lifting element (9) with pillar guides and spring is lifted by means of the line specially designed for this purpose. When the cigarette reaches its extreme position, the further pulling of the starter of the entire mechanism (15) activates either the mechanical lighter (13) for gas lighting or the heater, in the case of electric cigarette lighting.
