PURPOSE: An exhaust brake system of vehicle is provided to enlarge the braking force at the steep slope way by properly controlling the braking force according to an angle of inclination of the steep slope way. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust brake system of vehicle comprises an exhaust brake switch(4), a magnetic valve(12) which is on/off by the switch, a control cylinder(16) receiving an air of an air tank(13) by the opening/closing operation of a port of the magnetic valve, an exhaust brake valve(18) opened and closed with being interlocked with the reciprocation of the cylinder, and a brake force variable unit(14) controlling the air amount supplied to the control valve. The brake force variable unit comprises an inclination detecting part(20) detecting the inclination of the vehicle, a D/A converter(22) converting a signal of the detecting part, and a step motor(24) which is controlled by the converted signal, and controls the air supplying amount. The inclination detecting part comprises an U-shaped tube installed at the center of the vehicle and including a viscous fluid therein, a magnet floated on the fluid, and the anode arranged at the circumference of the tube and the cathode. The anode and the cathode are connected to an input terminal of a D/IO.
