PURPOSE: A throttle opening sensor learning apparatus using an idle switch is provided to remove the shock which is followed by a transmission point of an automatic transmission performing the throttle opening sensor learning. CONSTITUTION: A throttle opening sensor learning apparatus using an idle switch is composed of a throttle opening sensor for sensing a throttle opening; a crank angular sensor for sensing a rotation number of an engine; an idle switch for sensing an idle state of the engine; a coolant sensor for sensing a coolant temperature; an electronic control unit for throttle opening sensor learning by recognizing an output voltage of the throttle opening sensor as a standard voltage when the rotation number of the engine is the idle state after the engine is warmed up. The output of the throttle opening sensor, the crank angular sensor, the idle switch and the coolant sensor is inputted to the electronic control unit.
