The seal between two parts of a vehicle bodywork comprises an extruded elastomer joint (11). The joint has a first sealing part (12) between the two bodywork parts and a second anchoring part (13) on a moulded plastics frame (14) which is connected to one of the parts. The frame has portions of different dimensions as a function of the profile of the bodywork parts. The frame is fixed onto one of the elements by means of projecting snap on connectors (15).
