PURPOSE: A system and a method for electronic commerce are provided to offer credit evaluation information of plural electronic commerce sites to user. CONSTITUTION: An electronic commerce system(100) is connected with a shopping site(200) and a client(300) by the Internet or a future network. The electronic commerce system(100) comprises a shop database(1100), an insurance database(1200), and a membership database(1300). The shop database(1100) is used for storing basic information, credit information(1120), and commodity information(1140) for each shopping site. The credit information(1120) is connected with a credit information management module(2000). The commodity information(1140) is connected with a commodity information management module(3000). The insurance database(1200) is used for storing purchasing information(1220) about a purchaser using the electronic commerce system. The purchasing information(1220) is connected with the commodity information management module(3000) and an insurance information management module(4000). The membership database(1300) is used for storing a membership information such as a member's ID, password, sex, address, ages, telephone number, and fax number. The subscriber's information for the membership database(1300) is connected with insurance contact information and purchasing information of the insurance database(1200). The membership database(1300) is connected with a membership information management module(5000).
