PURPOSE: A plasma display panel is provided which generates writing discharge toward a fluorescent layer coated thick between barriers on a back substrate when the plasma display panel is initially driven, to prevent concentrated deterioration in the fluorescent layer and extend the life of the display panel. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel includes a front substrate(10) on which sustain electrodes(11) and bus electrodes(11b) are arranged, and a back substrate(20) facing the front substrate, on which barriers(21) are arranged in parallel. The plasma display panel further has an address electrodes arranged between the barriers, a dielectric layer and a fluorescent layer coated on the address electrodes. Each address electrode has a branch part branched at the first section and a combination part combined at the second section, the branch part and the combination part being repeated. |
