PURPOSE: A mouse device having both the wired and the wireless communication module is provided to eliminate a trouble of charging batteries inserted in a mouse and to make it easy switching between a wired and a wireless mode so that it can enhance a convenience. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises a transmitter(20), a receiver(10) and a connector(30). The transmitter(20) includes a mode switcher(26), a mouse track ball & button(28), a transmission controller(22) and a transmission circuit(24). The receiver(10) includes a serial interface(12), a receiving circuit(14), and a receiving controller(16). The mode switcher determines a wired or a wireless mode according to a connection state of a connector(30). The mouse track ball & button(28) generates a computer control signal. The transmission controller(22) detects a signal input at the mouse track ball & button(28), generates data signal for moving, selecting or cancelling a cursor position according to the detected signal, and controls the data signal according to the determination of the wired or the wireless mode. The transmission circuit(24) converts the data signal into a high radio frequency signal. The serial interface(12) is directly connected to a computer mouse port. The receiving circuit(14) demodulates the radio frequency signal transmitted from the transmission circuit(24). The receiving controller(16) controls the data transmitted from the connector(30) or the receiving circuit(14). |
