PURPOSE: An interior material forming method and a device thereof for a vehicle are provided to reduce cost on molding by performing forming of a base material and bonding of a surface material simply with upper and lower molds, to improve productivity by shortening a manufacturing process, and to improve quality by preventing damage on a foam layer of the surface material. CONSTITUTION: A base material(100) is molded by injecting a liquid to the molding surfaces of upper and lower molds(300,400). In the step for injecting a base material via the upper material for forming a planar face of the base material and an auxiliary injection die(310) movably installed in the edge of the upper mold for forming of the side edge of the base material, the thickness of the planar portion is formed to be the same as that of the side edge by using the auxiliary injection die. When a surface material(200) is attached, an elastic member(500) is lifted up as much as the thickness of the surface material to attach the surface material while the thickness of the side face is compensated. Therefore, the part of the surface material attached to the side edge of the base material is protected from damage.
