PURPOSE: An audio printer is provided to add a radio having an audio transmission function and an MP3 module to a printer, so as to listen to music without another audio device, and to utilize an area according to an audio device installation. CONSTITUTION: A power supply(210) supplies an operating power to a radio unit(290). A power supply path switch(220) is connected between the radio unit(290) and the power supply(210), and performs switching on/off operations. A system controller(200) receives print data from an external computer, and controls a predetermined image to be printed on a recording medium, then controls the power supply path switch(220) to control the power supplied to the radio unit(290). A displayer(250) displays a tuning frequency and a print operation state, under the control of the system controller(200). A key input unit(230) generates key data when a function key for audio printer operation controlling is operated, and outputs the key data to the system controller(200).
