PURPOSE: A wheel position display and its method displays the position of a wheel to prevent a collision. CONSTITUTION: A display comprises a sensor(11), a microprocessor(12) and a display part(13). The sensor(11) detects the position of a wheel of a vehicle and comprises an encoder distinguishing the rotating direction of a rotary shaft of a steering wheel to detect the rotary angle. The microprocessor(12) converts the detection signal of the sensor(11) to a digital detection signal and recognizes the position of the wheel based on the detection signal to control to display the position of the vehicle. The display part(13) displays the position of the vehicle by the control of the microprocessor(12).
