PURPOSE: A TS(Transport Stream) signal switching device of a digital TV is provided to be capable of recording TS signals of the digital TV to a hard disk and playing the recorded signals. CONSTITUTION: A recording/playback control unit(23) is composed of a buffer(23-1), a hard disk(23-2), an interface(23-3), a multiplexer(23-4), a TS decoder(23-5). The buffer(23-1) buffers TS signals output from a channel decoder(22), and the hard disk(23-2) records/plays the TS signals. Herein, an interface(23-3) performs the signal conversion to record/play the TS signals from the channel decoder(22). Under control of a microcomputer(24), the multiplexer(23-4) switches the TS signal from the buffer(23-1) or the converted signal from the interface(23-3). Finally, the TS decoder(23-5) extracts video signals to decode the switched signal.
