PURPOSE: A printing-page displaying method is provided to display a current page number and a total page number on an operating panel for a user to recognize the current printing status conveniently. CONSTITUTION: A printing-page displaying method includes the steps of determining whether a printing data in addition to a total number of pages to print is received from a host(210), storing the printing data(220), reading the stored data and converting to an image data(230), and displaying a current page number and the total page number when printing the converted image data(240) whenever an image data conversion for a page is finished by an emulation program in a printer or a complex machine such as a multi-function peripheral.
