PURPOSE: A method for preparing various food using mugwort is provided, which can be applied to medicines as well as preferable foods. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing various food using mugwort comprises the steps of: (i) cutting mugwort, pressing, drying, and powdering; (ii) extracting watery extract in a heating concentration cauldron; (iii) adding saccharide, lactose, and starch, and mixing with distilled water; and (iv) making into pills or granules with a pill-maker. Mugwort is also processed with coffee beans for espresso coffee or other herbs such as the fruits of the Chinese matrimony vine or black tea plants to produce granules for teas by mixing with other materials, pulverizing, extracting and making into granules.
