Filling machine for filling valve bags

The machine has a rotor with filler tubes (12). A valve closure device (19) moves on a guide track (16) extending concentrically to the rotor synchronously with the rotor through a set angle, to close the valves of filled sacks (14) removed from the filler tubes. The guide track is located on a stationary part of the rotating filling machine, and the valve closure device is moveable at a higher speed in direction of rotation of the rotor, than if moving against direction of rotation.
