PURPOSE: A metal product forming method is provided to obtain a precise and uniform product in a simple way and a cheap price with a second processing by press forming melted cast steel after hardening at a lower temperature. CONSTITUTION: A metal such as cast steel is melted in an electric furnace. Melted cast steel is cooled in a mold at a temperature of 700 to 800deg.C suitable for forming. A cooled metal product is removed from the molds, and transported to a press mold. The press mold compresses the metal product into a desired shape. The temperature of the metal product allows forming easy and precise. Pressing enables a hard structure without voids and a smooth surface to the metal product. The formed metal product is heat treated to prevent deformation thereof. Heat treatment is carried out by adjusting the cooling rate without carrying out an additional heating process. Painting is carried out at a temperature of 300 to 400deg.C.
