PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new protein having a specific amino acid sequence derived from mouse, a DNA containing a gene encoding the protein, a method for producing the protein, and uses of the DNA and the protein. SOLUTION: This new protein enables determining of a protein binding to the protein according to the present invention, obtaining of an antibody and an antigen, and constructing of a system expressing a recombinant protein permitted developing a binding assay system using the expression system and an assay system using the two-hybrid system and a method for screening a candidate compound for a medicine, and a method for designing a drug based on the comparison with a structurally similar ligand receptor. The protein can also be used as a reagent for preparing a probe and a PCR primer in the genetic diagnosis or a drug for the genetic treatment, etc. |
