PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop an acidic detergent having excellent detergency on stain of protein, etc., because the acidic detergent is hardly used for cleaning beer brewing facilities although the use of acidic detergent is considered as a means for avoiding a problem in alkali cleaning, the acidic detergent is inferior in detergency on stain of protein formed in beer brewing to an alkali detergent and does not reach a practical level. SOLUTION: This acidic detergent for beer brewing facilities has high detergency on stain of calcium oxalate, protein, etc. by formulating an acidic detergent comprising phosphoric acid as a main component with an organic acid and a surfactant. lactic acid, citric acid or succinic acid is suitable as the organic acid to be formulated with the detergent. A nonionic surfactant which is obtained by adding an ethylene oxide and/or propylene oxide to a primary or a secondary alcohol and contains a hydrogen terminal or an alkyl group terminal or an alkylbetaine type or alkylimidazolinium betaine type amphoteric surfactant is suitable as the surfactant. |
