PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet used for printing on an overcoat layer even when the paper sheet is provided with the overcoat layer formed on a paper base and also provided with the glossiness of surface of 60 or more at the angle of incidence 60 deg.. SOLUTION: The paper sheet is provided with a printed layer formed of an oily ink formed on the paper base and also with the overcoat layer composed of an aqueous coating agent 30 of seconds or less (measured by #4) based on the Zahn cup measuring method and formed on the printed layer, and the glossiness of surface is 60 or more, and the wet index of the surface is 350μN/cm or more.
