PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deflection of a sheet central part caused at the time of skew correction and to prevent wrinkling of a sheet due to a register roller. SOLUTION: This paper feeding device is constituted by furnishing a register roller 25 to carry a sheet at specified timing to a picture image forming position, a skew correction roller 24 provided 1 upstream from the register roller and to form deflection on the sheet and a handling mechanism 23 provided upstream from the skew correction roller and to separate the sheet one by one and forming an inside extracted part 25c on a part of the register roller.
