CUSHIONING MATERIAL FOR PACKING ARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushioning material for packing an article wherein a problem that a required occupied area is large when placing a stage on the cushioning material is solved, an occupied volume when packing the article is reduced, an occupied volume required by the stage which is placed when packing the article can be reduced, and the cushioning material is excellent in cushioning performance and workability in packing and has a small bulk. SOLUTION: The cushioning material 1a for packing an article is integrally molded by fabricating a thermoplastic resin sheet into an uneven structure. A part of the cushioning material 1a is formed with a cushioning wall 34 which is protruding or recessed with respect to a reference plane which is approximately vertical to a bottom face, a side face or a ceiling face of the article.
