PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-supporting carton which can be manufactured in a normal manufacturing process wherein the carton can be easily unsealed and assembled without deteriorating contents. SOLUTION: A cutout A for separating a front panel into an upper part 12V of the front panel and a lower part 12D of the front panel is provided on the front panel, a crease is provided on a rear panel, and a cut line is provided on side panels on a line which passes through the approximate center of the side panel 11, the front panel 12, the side panel and the rear panel. Cut lines are provided between the upper part and both side panels. Thus the self-supporting carton 1 is obtained wherein the cutout and the cut lines are cut to fold the carton via a crease whereby it can be separated into the upper part and the lower part of the front panel. An insertion piece C is provided on a side of the upper part toward the lower part, and an insert port into which the insertion piece is inserted is provided on a lower side of the rear panel.
