PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a control board in a passenger conveyor device regardless of the installation place state of the building side in this passenger conveyor. SOLUTION: This passenger conveyor is provided with footsteps 4 arranged endlessly and rotated between the forward path side 4M on which passengers ride and the return path side 4M which is inverted and returned, a driving machine 10 applying rotating force to them, and the control board 50 controlling the driving machine 10. The control board 50 is stored between the forward path side 4M and the return path side 4N of the footsteps 4.
