PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a highly reliable claw clutch mechanism thin with a simple constitution to make a drive device thin. SOLUTION: Rotor claw teeth 15 are provided in a rotor 13 in the drive device of a washing machine in which a reduction mechanism 10, a claw clutch mechanism, and a driving motor 12 are provided on the same shaft. Each tooth form of a claw clutch is formed of a spline constitution to thin the clutch mechanism and internally included in the rotor 13. In this way, the driving device provided with the reliable clutch mechanism is made thin.
