PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grain carrying device for combine harvester in which the discharge port of the grain discharge auger can be aligned easily, when grains are to be discharged from a grain discharge auger in such a condition as to be housed in an auger-receiving section through shortening its length by automatically expanding operation. SOLUTION: This grain carrying device has a telescopic and turnable grain discharge auger 5 and an auger-receiving section 35 housing the auger 5, and is designed so as to house the auger-receiving section 35 with the auger 5 in an intermediate state in terms of length between the most extended state and the most retractile state; thereby when the auger 5 is to be either automatically or manually expanded, it can be extended or retracted after turning it to an expansion position with its length remaining in the intermediate state as mentioned above, resulting in enabling the time to expand the auger 5 to be shorter.
