PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of promoting the cell proliferation that is advantageous in cost without needing complicated culture operations and can be widely applicable to a wide variety of cells. SOLUTION: In this cell proliferation method, one or more of proteins selected from the following proteins (a) and (b) are characteristically produced: (a) the protein has the amino acid sequence represented by the sequence No.1 given in the specification; and (b) the protein has the amino acid sequence in which one or several amino acids in the amino acid sequence of the sequence No.1 are deleted from, substituted with, modified with or added to, and has the action to promote the cell proliferation. |
