PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a depilator having enhanced cleanability so that it can be used cleanly at all times. SOLUTION: A rotating cylinder 4 with a depilation means having a plurality of pawls that open and close to catch hairs and adapted for pulling out the hairs by rotating or turning is disposed at an opening in the upper end of the depilator having a grip part that can be held by hand. The rotating cylinder 4 is freely removable from the depilator.
